How dA makes me cry

I have been to dA for less then 2 years. I´ve always loved it. I still am- I have to say that and that´s because of the people on here. I´ve made so many friends I would never have met without this place. It just makes me feel good.
Also I´ve learned a lot through this site- especially about art, but not only. I can browse dA for hours and just feel at home- more then on google images or tumblr or anything else.
Without dA I would never have pursued digital art- probably. Not to speak of the things I´v learned about html and CSS- never thought I would know this sort of thing one day as I really wasn´t good with PCs as a kid. And this is where the problem starts already:
How am I going to sell to my parents that I´m going to spend twice as much on my pm (no hang on... cm) to be able to use the coding enviornment of DA without getting any more out of it?
That´s a medium problem.
The new status symbol thingys (really? Orange-white? This is a page full of designers- why not ask one???) But that´s a minor problem. So is that "core membership" just sounds terribly artificial, which is something we just shouldn´t be- as a community of artists and art enthusiasts.
The huge prolem is this:
dA is- in my very personal opinion- the best online art community in the world- at least many deviants are. And that too is because of the great website enviornment with it´s billions of possibilities. But people are leaving. And why are they leaving? Because of the site-politics. Because they´re not listened to anymore. DA is demolishing itself- and that makes me cry.
It´s time to pick a sid(t)e- and many are not going to choose this one.

I´m going to stress this again: it´s about us now. We have to stand together rather then falling apart- going of to tumblr, facebook, instagram- this website was built for us- let´s make sure it stays ours.

And... I mean this is company politics.... but I don´t know whether you knew... but they´re not only charging more money, they´re also firing people. I guess it´s what companys do... but... oh go and read it yourself- I don´t really know what to think about this yet...
Dear deviantART...I am refusing to use the rebranded name because, I'm annoyed about the rebrand. I'm annoyed about your direction, your lack of focus in key areas and your lack of communication. I said I'd never be a bitter former staff member, but it seems that I am.
Last year you spent a lot of money on a rebrand, this year you've cut 50% of your work force, entire departments have been decimated and peoples lives have been thrown upside down without notice. But you never really communicated to anyone why. You still don't, you're not telling the community what's happening and that's only going to hurt you. People will see that helpdesk tickets take longer to get a response, people see that lots of people are no longer staff and you're not letting them know why. You know that people have a belief that the site is dying, you're only furthering it right now. How much of a better state would the site be in if the rebrand hadn't happened? Would I and the rest of the people that lost our jobs without notic

I don´t wnt to give up on DA and I don´t want to loose it and you, guys...
Love ya all

btw, sorry for the billions of spelling mistakes and missing letters and stuff... doing this with my tablet keyboard- sometimes I just miss the button...

It's just... Why make it more expensive?!!
Or even, why is there a premium/core membership at all?! We're all artists, the one has less money than the other, so more money means more access to this site? How pointless is that. They probably don't need that money that badly... =^= Dissapointed.
